Legal
Privacy Policy
The short version
- We collect only the registration information you give us: your name and email, and optionally your company and role.
- We do not sell or share your contact information, and we never have.
- We do not have access to the content you submit to the
prd-writerskill. That content is processed by our AI provider (Anthropic, the maker of Claude) to generate your outputs, under Anthropic's own terms. - We keep your registration information only until you ask us to delete it or you withdraw consent.
- You can access, correct, or delete your information at any time by emailing rshaker2@gmail.com.
1. Who we are
Robert Joseph Shaker II provides the Offering. If you have any question about this policy or your data, contact us at rshaker2@gmail.com. Our website is www.robertshaker.com.
2. The information we collect
Registration information you give us. When you register for the deployment program or to use the skill, we collect:
| Field | Required? | Why we collect it |
|---|---|---|
| Name | Required | To identify you and personalize our communications |
| Required | To create your registration, respond to you, and send updates you asked for | |
| Company | Optional | To understand who is using the Offering and tailor support |
| Role / Title | Optional | Same as above |
| Consent choice | Required | We record that you agreed to be contacted and to receive occasional updates |
At registration you check a consent box: "I agree to be contacted and receive occasional updates." That box links to this policy. You can withdraw this consent at any time (see Section 7).
What we do NOT collect or access. We do not receive, store, or have access to the documents, prompts, PRDs, or any other content you submit to the prd-writer skill. See Section 4.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and where required we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies.
3. How we use your information
We use your registration information to:
- provide, administer, and support the Offering;
- respond to your questions and requests;
- send the occasional updates you consented to (you can opt out at any time); and
- meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
Legal bases (GDPR / UK GDPR). We rely on your consent for marketing and update emails; on performance of a contract (or steps you ask us to take before one) to provide the Offering; and on our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Offering and keeping it secure, balanced against your rights.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you.
4. The prd-writer skill and AI processing
The prd-writer skill runs on Anthropic's Claude. When you use the skill, the inputs you provide (your prompts and any documents or details you include) are sent to and processed by Anthropic to generate the outputs you receive.
- We do not receive, store, or have access to that content. It passes between you and the AI provider.
- Anthropic's handling of that content is governed by Anthropic's own privacy policy and terms. Please review them.
- Please do not submit personal data, confidential information, or regulated data that you are not authorized to share. You are responsible for the content you put into the skill, and your use is also subject to the AI provider's terms.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your contact information with third parties for their own marketing.
We share information only in these limited cases:
- Service providers (processors) who perform tasks on our behalf under contract. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- Our AI provider, as described in Section 4, for content you submit to the skill (not your contact information).
- Legal and safety reasons, if required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or others.
- Business transfers, if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify you and honor the commitments in this policy.
6. Selling and sharing (California / CCPA and CPRA)
For California residents: we do not "sell" and do not "share" your personal information as those terms are defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the CPRA, and we have not done so in the preceding 12 months. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would require us to offer a "limit" right, and we do not engage in cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
7. Your rights and choices
Withdraw consent / unsubscribe. You can withdraw consent or stop update emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by contacting us at rshaker2@gmail.com.
If you are in the EEA or UK (GDPR / UK GDPR), you have the right to: access your data; correct inaccurate data; delete your data; restrict or object to processing; data portability; and withdraw consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office; in the EEA, your national data protection authority).
If you are in California (CCPA / CPRA), you have the right to: know and access the personal information we hold about you; delete it; correct it; opt out of sale or sharing (note: we do neither); and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
How to exercise your rights. Email rshaker2@gmail.com. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by law (generally within 30 days under GDPR/UK GDPR, and within 45 days under CCPA/CPRA, with an extension where permitted). You may use an authorized agent where the law allows.
8. How long we keep your information
We keep your registration information only as long as we need it to provide the Offering and stay in touch with you, and we delete it when you ask us to or when you withdraw consent, unless the law requires us to keep certain records longer. Because we do not have access to the content you submit to the skill, we do not retain it.
9. International data transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than where you live, including the United States. Where we transfer personal data out of the EEA or UK, we rely on an appropriate safeguard such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum) or another lawful transfer mechanism. Content you submit to the skill is transferred to and processed by our AI provider under its own safeguards.
10. How we protect your information
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, such as access controls and encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children's privacy
The Offering is intended for use by working professionals and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice. Your continued use of the Offering after an update means you accept the revised policy.
